FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to paint materials for producing heat-resistant electrically insulating metal coatings and can be used in electrical engineering, radio electronic industry, power engineering and machine building. Organosilicate composition contains components in the following ratio, wt%: polymethylphenylsiloxane – 24–27.5, chrysotile asbestos – 40–42, vanadium oxide V2O5 – 5–6.5, aluminium-borosilicate glass – 26–30. Additional component is an organic solvent.
EFFECT: higher heat resistance of coating to 700 °C, resistance to sudden change of temperature from 20 to 700 °C, hardness and adhesion strength to metal.
