FIELD: measuring equipment.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mounting of rotor or other machines and is intended for measurement of relative position of shaft axes. Receiving device for measuring position of laser beam by linear photosensitive matrix in plane of matrix, consisting of linear light-sensitive matrix and an optical system arranged in parallel to said matrix, providing for scanning of the beam into a horizontal line. Optical system is an optically transparent collecting semi-cylindrical lens, which provides focusing of the laser beam on the photosensitive matrix, wherein half-cylinder length l not less than height of matrix h (l≥h), and the distance r between the optical center of the semi-cylindrical lens and the light-sensitive matrix satisfies the following condition: r=ƒ±z=R/(n-1)±z, where ƒ is the focal distance of the semi-cylindrical lens, R is the radius of the semi-cylindrical lens, n is the refractive index of the optically transparent substance from which the semi-cylindrical lens is made, and z is the depth of focus.

EFFECT: high reliability of determining the position of a laser spot with a linear matrix without increasing laser radiation power and wider field of use thereof.
