SUBSTANCE: baling press comprises cylindrical pressing chamber to form roll and tying device. Press chamber is limited by set of clamping elements arranged along its circumference. Drive elements are used to rotate clamping elements.
EFFECT: at least one of the rotary pressure elements is configured to provide a reduced level of adhesion relative to the roll in the compaction chamber compared to at least the majority of other rotary hold down elements, which reduces the probability of damage to the tying material.
