SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to medical equipment, specifically to means of providing assistance. Auxiliary device for determining position of insertion element during its movement inside object to target element during surgical operation, wherein the auxiliary device comprises an image providing unit of the target element, a unit for forming the representation of the target element representing the target element inside the object in its three-dimensional position and with three-dimensional orientation and its size. Target element has one hole, the unit for forming the representation of the target element contains one ring representing the hole of the target element inside the object in the three-dimensional position. Auxiliary device also has a unit for tracking the three-dimensional position of the insertion element inside the object and a display for displaying one ring representing the target element and the ring representing the hole of the insertion element. Surgical system for insertion of an insertion element into an object comprises an insertion element and an auxiliary device. Method of determining the position of the insertion element is performed by an auxiliary device. Data medium for determining the position of the insertion element stores a computer program which directs the auxiliary device to perform the steps of the method.
EFFECT: use of group of inventions provides accurate and fast movement of insert element to target element inside object.
