FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: claimed invention relates to a system and method of obtaining angiographic images. The method contains stages of performing an algorithm of a three-dimensional segmentation on a set of data of a three-dimensional representation image connected with a preliminarily calculated optimal angle of observation in order to determine contours of a target structure or a pathological change, which are to be examined and surgically treated in the area of interest, and an automatic regulation of position of wedges of a collimator and/or a shutter mechanism aperture, used for collimation of a X-ray beam, emitted by a source of X-ray radiation of a three-dimensional rotating angiographic device on the basis of a C-shaped bracket or a system of obtaining tomographic images on the basis of a portal frame, to action of which a patient is subjected during the X-ray procedure of examination with visual control, basing on data obtained as a result of the said segmentation, identifying contour and dimensions of the said target structure or the pathological change.

EFFECT: application of invention ensures reduction of the area under interest to the vision range, including the said target structure or the pathological change with a section of surrounding vascular net determined by the user.
