FIELD: heating equipment.
SUBSTANCE: technical result is achieved by self-contained gas water heater comprising cylindrical housing with cover equipped with exhaust branch pipe and bottom with central air intake hole, covered with heat insulation, inside of which combustion chamber with burner with automatic ignition device is located from below upwards, cylindrical two-stage heat exchanger connected to storage container, flue gas chamber, wherein inner walls of water annular channels of first and second stages of heat exchanger are made with vertical rectangular slots, in which are partially recessed thermoelectric links, consisting of rectangular inserts, inside which rows are arranged in parallel, thermionic converters, each of which is a pair of parallel wire segments made of different metals M1 and M2, soldered at ends with each other to form a gap width Δ, each thermoelectric link is in-series connected to each other at the ends of the water annular channels of the first and second stages of the heat exchanger by capacitors coated with a layer of waterproof dielectric material, forming a thermoelectric unit in the form of an open ring, first and last of the above capacitors of which are connected to terminals, connected through converter and accumulator with system of automation and safety of water heater.
EFFECT: disclosed is a device for heating water for domestic and production needs.
