FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: self-contained air heater includes a cylindrical housing inside which a fan with an electric motor is installed, a cylindrical combustion chamber combined with a heat exchanger, the surface of the heat exchange part of the combustion chamber is made with horizontal rectangular slots provided with the support angles facing inwards at their ends, thermoelectric links are inserted in the slots, each of them consists of the upper and lower rows, made of 2 parallel metal strips, covered from the inside with a layer of heat-resistant dielectric material, between which the junctions of parallel thermal emission converters are clamped, sections of wire segments between the upper and lower rows of metal strips are placed in rectangular inserts made of a heat-resistant dielectric heat-insulating material, and the ends of the lower rows of each thermoelectric link in the initial and middle section of the combustion chamber are pressed against the support corners by sealing rings.
EFFECT: invention can be used in decentralized heating systems for heating air in domestic and industrial premises.
