METHOD AND DEVICE FOR GROWING GRAFTED GRAPE SEEDLINGS Russian patent published in 2019 - IPC A01G17/00 

FIELD: agriculture.

SUBSTANCE: grapes grown in grapes growing method includes pre-processing, planting and growing of seedlings under conditions of artificial fog. Grafted seedlings are planted on a vertical surface at angle of 28–30° into seats. Substrate used is alternating layers of mineral fiber and peat. To maintain optimum humidity and temperature, steam is fed directly into the substrate. After the roots are formed, the substrates are saturated with 0.2 % Albite solution. In the first month after planting, a cloud of fog is formed around the seedling. Device is made in the form of vertical cylinders with seats, which are seating surface, in the center of which there is a pipe with holes. On the surface of the pipe there are alternating layers of mineral fiber and peat, which are covered with a polymer film and a fine mesh reinforcing mesh. Proposed device comprises high-pressure pump unit with pipe and nozzles, two steam generators.

EFFECT: invention allows to produce high-quality, well-prepared for fast-rooting seedlings due to their growing in a substrate, made with possibility of adjusting water-air and temperature conditions with simultaneous saturation with a solution of macro- and micro fertilizers.
