FIELD: agriculture; machine building.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of agricultural machine building. Rotary ripper includes shaft with spiral-plate working element installed on it with sharpening and radial support, flanges and limiters of working element penetration. Leading edge of the spiral-plate working element has radially directed teeth located perpendicular to the tangent corresponding to the point of the contour of its cutting edge. One end of horizontally located rods is rigidly attached to the end part of the spiral-plate working element, with other ends freely located in the hole made on the upper part of the end flanges. Rod on both sides of the flange is equipped with springs and is fixed with locknuts.
EFFECT: higher quality of soil treatment and reduced energy intensity of the tillage process.
