FIELD: treatment.
SUBSTANCE: inventions can be used at water treatment stations for water purification from suspended impurities contained in it. To implement the method, initial concentration of contaminants in water is continuously measured before it is taken into treatment, contaminated water is successively introduced into a coagulation zone, flocculation and sedimentation with supply of required amount of coagulant, ballast and flocculant to these zones, treated water is separated in the upper part of sedimentation zone from the mixture of sediment and ballast and directed for hydrocyclone separation. From the hydrocyclone bottom drain the produced product is directed to the flocculation zone, the sediment leaving the hydrocyclone top drain is directed into the storage tank and sediment is recirculated into the coagulation zone. According to results of continuous measurement of residual concentration of contaminants in water after treatment, amount of coagulant and flocculant is changed. Based on the results of periodic measurement of the difference in water conductivity before and after cleaning, the amount of coagulant fed into the coagulation zone is changed. Plant comprises tank (1) for mixing water with coagulant; flocculation vessel (3); shelf reservoir-settler (5); hydrocyclone (9); reservoir for storage of sediment (10) coming from hydrocyclone (9) top drain; pipeline (11) connecting lower part of settling tank (5) with hydraulic cyclone (9); pipeline (12) connecting upper one of hydraulic cyclone with reservoir (10) for sediment storage; pipeline (13) for recycling sediment from storage tank (10); automatic devices for feeding coagulant (14), ballast (15) and flocculant (16). First sensor (17) for continuous measurement of initial concentration of contaminants in water; second sensor (18) for continuous measurement of ballast concentration in flocculation vessel (3); third sensor (19) for continuous measurement of treated water quality and automatic devices (14, 15, 16) are connected to computer (20). Pipeline (13) is connected to reservoir (1) for mixing water subject to treatment with coagulant. Device also comprises two sensors for periodic monitoring of electrical conductivity of water before and after processing, connected to computer (20).
EFFECT: inventions provide higher efficiency of the process of water purification from suspended impurities.
