FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of coal-graphite composite material. Method includes vacuum degassing of porous coal-graphite billet, its impregnation with melt of matrix aluminum alloy under action of excessive pressure due to thermal expansion of melt at heating above temperature of liquidus of aluminum alloy. Degassing is performed before immersion of porous workpiece into melt of matrix alloy, and before impregnation a three-layer galvanic coating consisting of internal copper, medium nickel and outer silver layers is applied on the porous workpiece.
EFFECT: higher quality of composite material.
