FIELD: test equipment.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to test equipment, in particular to devices for testing metals and alloys, as well as composite materials and coatings for resistance to gas-abrasive wear at normal and elevated up to 1,000 °C temperatures. Proposed plant comprises post, chamber and hopper for collection of waste abrasive mounted on strut, abrasive feed channel and air feed path that serve as inputs to mixer, holder and sample heater arranged in chamber, gas-abrasive mix feed nozzle and gas-abrasive flow heater. Gas-abrasive flow heater is made in the form of a plasmatron connected to a control unit and a system for supply of plasma-forming gases. Plasmatron is fixed on nozzle holder providing smooth adjustment in three planes of nozzle and plasmatron position relative to sample. Sample heater is made in form of two copper water-cooled current leads fixed in specimen holder and electrically insulated from it, wherein one of them is made fixed, and other is able to move and be fixed on guides, providing attachment between current leads of samples of different length and heating samples passing through them current. Path of the abrasive feed into the mixer is connected to the tank under excess air pressure through the dispenser.
EFFECT: expansion of technological capabilities, increase in temperature range of tests from room to 1,000 °C, as well as high reliability and reproducibility of test results due to accurate dosing and single use of abrasive.
