FIELD: testing equipment.

SUBSTANCE: plant comprises a tank, a hydroabrasive head, a holder of a tested sample that controls distance from the sample plane to the hydroabrasive head and its rotation by a certain angle relative to its axis, a hopper for an abrasive, an autonomous system of liquid supply. The tank is divided into sections, one of which is equipped with a quick-detachable container located under a flap cover of the tank with the hydroabrasive head with the holder and the tested sample installed on the inner side of the cover and mutually joined. The container is equipped with a partition with a filter, forming two sections, one of which is equipped with a drain tap and a nozzle of liquid level. Substance: the tank is filled with liquid, the hopper is filled with the abrasive, the hydroabrasive head with the holder and the tested sample are put into the working position, the source of pressure is started, the tap of abrasive supply is opened. Before the hydroabrasive head with the holder and the tested sample are put into working position, the drain tap of the container is closed, and the test is carried out with a flooded jet.

EFFECT: possibility to test for hydroabrasive wear by a flooded jet, provision of the test conditions making it possible to get maximum close to natural conditions of streamlined parts of structures operated in the medium of hydroabrasive liquid flows, achievement of maximum convenience and reduced labour intensiveness of plant maintenance.
