SUBSTANCE: disclosed is a lamella for use in a roll shutter. Lamella comprises an engaging element located on the first edge of the body, and a receiving element located on the second edge of the body. To illustrate, the catching element has a hook-shaped profile, and the receiving element has a protrusion and an anvil forming a space for receiving an engaging element of the adjacent lamella.
EFFECT: engaging element and receiving element are designed to minimize the space required for retracting the roll shutter around the shaft.
