SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to agricultural machine building. In the method, the roller of the round baler with an adjustable chamber consists of an axis that can be mounted on the mounting element the baler, wherein a rolling bearing is arranged on said axis, and a roller housing. Said rolling bearing supports the roller housing for rotation about this axis. On the axis, the first sealing plate is fixedly positioned adjacent to the end of the housing and extending outwardly from said axis to the roller housing. And the second sealing plate is mounted on the housing between the first sealing plate and the bearing, with the possibility of co-rotation with the housing. Also, the second sealing plate is installed axially inward at a distance from the first sealing plate, forming a space between the first and second sealing plates. At the bottom of the first sealing plate, an opening is formed through which the waste of the agricultural material can escape outwardly from the space between the first and second sealing plates.
