SUBSTANCE: invention refers to communication engineering. Automated multichannel audio notification system comprises a power supply module connected to an amplification-switching unit, comprising a main control module connected to the main data communication bus, and connected to it main amplifying modules, an interface module and an interface module, wherein amplifier-switching unit further comprises a module of terminal consoles and intercommunication devices, at least one backup control module, a backup amplification module and a backup switching device, to which main and backup amplification modules are connected, a backup data bus, to which all modules and devices of the amplifying-switching unit are connected, and a power supply module, which comprises a mains backup device, a standby power supply unit and a storage battery, wherein the main and backup control modules are configured to diagnose system devices and modules and external peripheral devices.

EFFECT: technical result consists in improvement of reliability, fault tolerance and expansion of functional capabilities of warning system.
