FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: software-hardware system for automating monitoring and control of technological processes, having automation processors connected to a system bus EN, which is based on an Industrial Ethernet interface from two unconnected buses ENa and ENb in form of two circular communication structures of series-connected network switches, wherein each of the two backup automation processes is connected over one channel to the network switch of the bus ENa, and over another channel to the network switch of the bus ENb, the backup automation processors are connected to each other on separate serial interfaces and are fitted with hot backup control apparatus, input/output stations are backed up and have backup SP modules, connected in pairs through signalling lines, fitted with hot backup control apparatus, and two each backup interface modules connected to each other through serial interfaces with hot backup control apparatus.
EFFECT: high reliability owing to reduced standby switching delay in case of failure of network equipment and preventing data loss.
