FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of producing highly dispersed catalytically active material for cleaning gas emissions from carbon monoxide, which consists in co-precipitation of cerium and tin and copper hydroxides in molar ratio Ce:Sn:Cu=8:1:1 or cerium, and tin, and manganese in molar ratio Ce:Sn:Mn=8:1:1 with ammonium hydroxide in isopropyl alcohol with subsequent thermal treatment in stationary conditions at temperature 500–600 °C.
EFFECT: high catalytic activity in the oxidation of carbon monoxide.
