SUBSTANCE: invention relates to crop production in structures of protected ground, and in particular to a method of reducing the vertical temperature gradient in the construction of protected ground in conditions of photoculture. In the method, as a device for the vertical movement of air, a LED lamp of lateral irradiation is used, which is placed vertically in the plant phytocenosis and an upward air flow 7, 10 is created. LED lamp has a radiator housing, which is made in the form of several longitudinal heat-conducting profiles 1, fastened together so that the planes of their external surfaces form a polygon in cross-section, and longitudinal edges of the adjacent profiles are fixed with a gap at a distance from each other. Method will ensure the reduction of the difference between the air temperatures in the upper and lower zones of the greenhouse during the operation of the irradiation unit in a manner that ensures a high air exchange rate without additional energy costs.

EFFECT: use of the invention in conjunction with known climate control systems will lead to a decrease in the total energy consumption for maintaining the microclimate in the greenhouse.
