HYBRID IRRADIATOR FOR CUCUMBER LIGHT CULTURE IN GREENHOUSES Russian patent published in 2020 - IPC A01G9/20

FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: hybrid lighting unit includes upper feeders with high-pressure sodium lamp for top lighting and light-emitting diode lamps for interrowing irradiation. LED irradiator has a spectrum in which superposition of action on the cenosis of plants of both types of the irradiator provides an optimum ratio of irradiations from separate bands of the phased antenna array: blue (Δλb = 400–500 nm), green (Δλg = 500–600 nm) and red (Δλr = 600–700 nm). At that, radiation fractions in the said ranges of the phased antenna array are in the following ratio: FΔλb : FΔλg : FΔλr = (25–27) % : (27–30) % : (44–46) %. Inter-row LED irradiators create photosynthetic photon irradiation at level of 90–100 mcmole/(s⋅m2). Total photosynthetic photon irradiance of cucumber trellis average part makes 140–165 mcmole/(s⋅m2).

EFFECT: invention will make it possible to increase productivity of cucumber light culture.
