FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the space equipment. Method of modeling space debris removal process uses data on design of real space debris object (SDO), namely a real non-functioning spacecraft (SC) of a certain type to be removed from orbit, and parameters of its orbital motion. Said parameters are obtained by measuring data on orbital motion preset to removal of SDO and their approximation for the time of planned mission, according to parameters specified for removal of SDO, method is developed for execution of main stages of method of its removal from geostationary orbit (GSO). Requirements to design, service conditions and algorithm of service SC functioning are determined; 3D model of preset to removal of SDO is created. A 3D model of a service spacecraft (SSC) is created with a grip unit in its composition. Processes of approach of SSC with preset to removal of SDO and its capture are simulated, process of orbital movement of bundle of SDO with SSC, process of separation of SDO and SSC. At that time models of orbital motion of SDO and SSC are synchronized.
EFFECT: technical result of the invention is to ensure selection of the optimal version of the SDO removal.
