FIELD: physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of assessing safety of operation of complex technical system. Method of assessing the safety level of a complex technical system consists in the fact that based on the results of operation of the technical system, partial safety indicators are calculated, obtained using a model of operation system and partial models of assessing probabilities of origin of premises for emergency situations, which enable to calculate complex safety index and critical level of safety of operation, after comparison of which is determined safety level. Method includes partial models for assessing probabilities of origin of premises for emergency situations and takes into account factors affecting safety of operation of complex engineering system, namely personnel errors, taking into account tension, workload of work performance and its qualification, equipment failures taking into account equipment reliability characteristics and their change as a result of its aging, unauthorized external actions of artificial and natural origin, errors of safety control system of dangerous works and critical operations.
EFFECT: technical result is effective safety control of complex technical system in modern conditions, high reliability of evaluation, control and prediction of safety of operation of complex technical system.
