SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of electrical engineering and electronics and can be used in systems for transmitting and receiving analogue and discrete information for monitoring and diagnostics of the technical condition of an automated communication complex (ACC). To realise the technical result, the impact of the process of accumulation of the effects of failures and the increase in the intensity of occurrence thereof on the value of the interval of autonomous function of the ACC is evaluated, and a conclusion is made on the need to improve of the apparatus of both integrated and external systems for diagnostics of the ACC with a high level of autonomy, which is one of the reserves for increasing the time intervals of autonomous function thereof.

EFFECT: ensured rational distribution of features of integrated and external means of monitoring and diagnostics of the technical condition of the ACC with a high level of autonomy.
