FIELD: astronautics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of estimating probabilities of accidents in items of rocket and space equipment (RSE) using stochastic network models of occurrence and development of emergency situations. In order to implement the method, based on the experience of testing articles of the RSE, models are developed for the onset and development of emergency situations, possible at the testing stages, with the help of which these safety indicators are calculated, compared with required values and, depending on the comparison results, determining the need to implement additional security measures in a certain manner.
EFFECT: enabling obtaining more reliable estimates of safety parameters of articles of RSE in conditions of uncertainty of initial data and deficiency of statistical information on emergency situations and accidents.
