FIELD: electrical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to electrical engineering and can be used for control of reactive electrical machine without damping cell. Method of determination of rotor frequency (f) and/or angle (ϕ) of rotor of reactive electrical machine (2), which has stator with stator winding (10) and rotor with magnetically anisotropic rotor package, is carried out by applying a time sequence of voltage pulses (Uk) to stator winding (10), determination of response sequence of pulses of electric current (Ik) flowing in stator winding (10), which occurs due to voltage pulses (Uk) and successively induced flow (Φk) due to magnetically anisotropic rotor pack, wherein determination of rotor frequency (f) and/or angle (ϕ) of the rotor is carried out based on the measured response sequence of electric current (Ik) pulses using evaluation unit (3).
EFFECT: invention discloses a method of determining rotor frequency and/or rotor angle of a reactive electrical machine, a control device and a drive system.
