FIELD: lighting.

SUBSTANCE: light-emitting device (1) comprises a plurality of first light sources (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28) configured to emit during operation of first light (13) with a first spectral distribution, and a first light guide (3), comprising first light input surface (31), wherein first light guide is configured to receive first light with first spectral distribution on first light input surface, convert at least part of first light with first spectral distribution into second light (14) with second spectral distribution and direction of second light to first light input surface, wherein the light-emitting device further comprises one first light-emitting element (9, 91, 92) for outputting light from the first light input surface located in or on the first light input surface in a preselected location on the plane in which the surface extends. First light-emitting element (9) is located in the centre of the first light input surface (31), wherein the area of the first light-emitting element (9) is more than twice less than the area of the first light input surface, wherein first light input surface (31) includes peripheral boundary (81). First light-emitting element is located in place on first light input surface (31), which is in position, where any distance perpendicular to the peripheral boundary is maximum possible, wherein all distances perpendicular to the peripheral boundary are assigned the same weight.

EFFECT: technical result is reduction of light losses and increase in output intensity.
