FIELD: lighting engineering.
SUBSTANCE: device (1) comprises (i) luminescent concentrator (100) comprising waveguide (4000) having a radiation input surface (4100), a radiation output surface (4200) and a width (W) defined by the radiation input surface (4100) and opposite surface (4500). Waveguide (4000) comprises radiation transducer element (20) distributed in waveguide (4000) with concentration of transducer, and (ii) solid-state light source (10), which is configured to irradiate waveguide radiation (4000) radiation input surface (4100) with solid-state light source radiation (11). Element (20) of the radiation converter in the solid-state light source is configured to absorb at least part of radiation (11) of the light source and convert it to radiation (21) of the radiation converter element, and in which concentration of converter is at least three times higher than necessary in order to absorb 98 % of radiation (11) of light source in width (W) of waveguide (4000).
EFFECT: technical result is to increase the lighting device brightness.
