SUBSTANCE: light emitting device comprising at least one first light source (21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 211) arranged to operate, emitting first light (13) with a first spectral distribution, first light guide (3) comprising first light input surface (31), first light exit surface (32), and at least one first additional surface (33, 34, 35, 36), wherein the first light guide is adapted to receive a first light having a first spectral distribution on a first light input surface, conducting the first light to the first light output surface and removing the first light with the first spectral distribution from the first light output surface, at least one luminescent element (90) disposed on the first surface of the light output of the first fiber, wherein at least one luminescent element includes second light input surface (91), second light exit surface (92), and at least one second additional surface (93, 94, 95, 96), the luminescent element being configured to receive the first light with a first spectral distribution on the second light input surface, converting at least a portion of the first light with a first spectral distribution to second light (14) with a second spectral distribution, directing the second light onto a second surface of the light output and discharging the second light with a second spectral distribution from the second light exit surface, the light emitting device further comprising at least one first heat sink element (70) located on or on the surface of the luminescent element facing away from second light input surface (92).
