FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in internal combustion engines (ICE). ICE gas distribution mechanism is intended mainly for inlet valves (1) and consists of distributing shaft (12) with cams (11) and its drive mechanism. On each of inlet valves (1) cups (3) are movably installed, end surfaces (10) of which facing towards cams (11) of distributing shaft (12), are made inclined. Lateral surfaces of cups (3) are equipped with teeth (4) interacting with mating teeth (5) made on longitudinally located rod (6). Rod (6) is installed on head (9) of the cylinders and is connected to rod (6) movement control controller. End surfaces of cams (11) of distributing shaft (12) contacting end surfaces (10) of cups (3) have spherical shape (13).
EFFECT: simplified design of the device for changing inlet valve lift height.
