SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the field of metrology, in particular to the string converter excitation devices. Device for excitation of continuous oscillations of a string consists of a starting pulse generator, a string converter, first and second multipliers of analogue signals, a frequency detector, sampling and storage unit and voltage-controlled waiting univibrator, switch, pulse generator of half-wave sinusoid with voltage controlled amplitude, amplifier, amplifier-limiter, first and second waiting multivibrators, coincidence circuit, amplitude detector, low-pass filter and comparator.
EFFECT: technical result is providing high stability of string oscillations, reduced measurement error.
