FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: to obtain the required strength and plastic properties of calibrated rolled stock in compliance with GOST 10702-2016 by forming a uniform finely dispersed structure of plate sorbite over the entire cross-sectional area and rolling length, hot-rolled stock is annealed at 770–790 °C with holding for 3–4 hours, cooling with furnace to 660–680 °C, holding in furnace for 3–4 hours, cooling with furnace to temperature of 160–170 °C with holding for 2–3 hours, air cooling, primary drawing with degree of reduction 13–14 %, patenting with isothermal holding at temperature of 490–510 °C, cooling and secondary drawing with reduction degree of 5–6 %.
EFFECT: invention relates to machining of hot-rolled stock and can be used for fabrication of high-strength long-length fasteners.
