FIELD: veterinary medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention refers to veterinary science, particularly to a package and a system for packaging diluted animal semen acceptable for artificial insemination. Said pack comprises two flexible sheets attached to each other by welding zone delimiting cavity with preset volume after filling. Cavity is configured to contain a dose of diluted animal sperm having said preset volume. Each flexible sheet has a surface facing the cavity, which is part of a layer of thermoplastic material suitable for welding. Package in one or preferably in each of sheets layer of thermoplastic material suitable for welding contains triclosan, and ratio between specified volume of cavity and sum of areas of surfaces of sheets facing cavity is in range from 0.3 to 0.5 ml/cm^2. System contains packages and a diluting medium without antibiotics.

EFFECT: using the invention enables reducing the use of antibiotics.
