FIELD: heat exchange.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to composite materials and relates to corrugated heat-insulating pipe and method of its production. Heat-insulating pipe comprises outer layer containing aluminium and having outer surface and inner surface; and an inner composite layer comprising an aluminium layer and a glass fibre layer, wherein the aluminium layer and the glass fibre layer are glued to each other; wherein aluminium layer of inner composite layer is connected to inner surface of outer layer; wherein said glass fibre layer of inner composite layer defines inner space of heat-insulating pipe, and glass fibre layer is at least partially coated with polymer coating.
EFFECT: invention provides a heat-insulating pipe having high heat resistance and abrasive resistance, and minimizes or eliminates worker contact with glass fibre particles which can be deposited from insulating materials.
