SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mechanical double-sided packers. Mechanical double-action packer comprises a rod with upper and lower radial projections, sealing elements, upper mechanical anchor consisting of upper housing with upper dies spring loaded through stop, spring-loaded split cone, casing, lower mechanical anchor consisting of lower housing with spring-loaded lower dies and plates, lower cone, shaped groove and retainer. Between the upper mechanical anchor and sealing elements a housing is installed, the upper part of which is connected to the casing of the upper mechanical anchor and rests against the spring pressing the split cone. Inside the housing there is a collet installed with possibility of axial movement together with the housing relative to the stock and interaction of its internal projection with the external collar of the stock. Lower radial ledge of the stock is made between the split cone and the collet.
