FIELD: oil and gas industry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to equipment for oil and gas industry and is intended for long-term tight disconnection of intervals of a casing string during development and operation of oil, gas and injection wells. Mechanical well packer comprises adapter, stock, sealing elements, mechanical anchor, load regulator mechanism, bush with cuff installed between adapter and body of mechanical anchor. Sleeve is connected with adapter and has stepped outer surface. Between the upper and lower stages a conical transition is made. Cuff is placed on the lower stage of the bushing, has an internal conical surface interacting with the conical transition of the bushing, and is installed with the possibility of movement to the upper stage of the bushing. Mechanism of load regulator comprises fixing element installed with possibility of interaction with external protrusion of rod.

EFFECT: technical result is protection of packer from spillage with mechanical impurities with possibility of retaining collar in working position at tension of pipe string at performance of technological operations in well till definite tensile load for packer failure is achieved.
