FIELD: metallurgy.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to metallurgy, namely to structural low-alloy steel used for production of rolled sheet for welded structures, in particular rolled sheet with thickness of up to 40 mm for main gas pipelines with high deformation capacity, as well as for use in structures of buildings and structures to improve their seismic fitness. Sheet steel is made from steel containing, wt%: carbon 0.03–0.07, silicon 0.10–0.25, manganese 1.60–1.80, titanium 0.010–0.025, niobium 0.025–0.055, nitrogen not more than 0.006, aluminum 0.020–0.050, sulfur not more than 0.002, phosphorus not more than 0.015, iron and impurities making the rest. Rolled stock has guaranteed temporary resistance of not less than 590 MPa, ratio of yield point to time resistance of not more than 88 %, relative uniform elongation of not less than 10 %, and steel has a ferrite-martensite structure with streakiness of not higher than 2 points.
EFFECT: higher deformation capacity of rolled stock and steel structures made from it, which improves indices of seismic resistance of pipelines and seismic fitness of buildings and structures due to increased deformability of structures as a whole.
