SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a hair styling device (1) using steam, comprising: two clamps (2, 3) arranged opposite to each other, wherein first clamp (2) comprises a first longitudinal body having a first working surface (4), and second clamp (3) comprises a second longitudinal housing having a second working surface (5), wherein surfaces (4, 5) are intended for clamping a hair strand, reservoir (19) for liquid, wherein at least first housing comprises steam generating means (7) in fluid communication with fluid reservoir (19) and means (7') of steam distribution, connected to steam generating device (7), wherein said first housing has an inner surface located opposite steam generating means (7). According to the invention, at least the first housing comprises on its inner surface a first group of protruding linear elements parallel to the first axis, and a second set of protruding linear elements parallel to the second axis forming a non-zero angle with the first axis, wherein at least a portion of the protruding linear elements of the second group intersect with at least a portion of the linear elements of the first group protruding to form at least one air compartment.
EFFECT: hair styling device is proposed.
