FIELD: power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the wind power engineering. Carousel wind wheel comprising blades in the form of aerodynamic wings and dampers, located between two discs, on which wings are fixed with possibility of rotation about axis, wherein wings and dampers are directly fixed in form of sets on chords of upper and lower disks, wherein angles between chords are equal. Each set of blades and dampers at any point of circular motion path has wings operating in operating mode, and wings in weathering mode, and distance between axes of adjacent wings of set and sizes of wings are made such that in operating mode there are no gaps between adjacent wings, and gaps between edges of wings parallel to disks and discs are minimal.
EFFECT: invention is aimed at increase in the wind energy use factor.
