FIELD: wind power engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to wind power engineering and can be used as a source of electric energy. Wind power plant comprises rotors with horizontal shafts combined into two sets of N>2 rotors. Shafts of adjacent rotors are interconnected by couplings, and their blades are shifted relative to blades of adjacent rotors by an angle π/N. Shafts of outermost rotors of both sets are supported through bearings on transport stands with wheels and electric drives installed on rail ring. In the centre of the rail circle there is a tower, on the top of which there is a nacelle with a yaw bearing; inside it there are accelerating reducers and generators connected to horizontal shafts of rotors. On top of nacelle, there is a control unit for electric drives of wheels of transport stands with sensors of direction and speed of air flow.
EFFECT: increased power of wind power plant at reduction of overturning moment at increase of power and absence of necessity in increase of length and strength of blades.
