SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods of measuring distances using radio waves and can be used for remote monitoring of location of vehicles moving along known trajectories. Said result is achieved by reducing the level of interference caused by different factors, while reducing the composition of the satellite constellation to two satellites.

EFFECT: high accuracy of determining current coordinates (positioning) of vehicles and possibility of implementing remote monitoring of their positioning in the absence of a navigation computer on board the vehicle, including when the number of visible navigation satellites is reduced to two.
