FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to loose materials processing and can be used in investigation of loose materials mixing processes. Method involves loading components into mixer, actuating drive, stopping it, fixing images of mixture surfaces through transparent transverse partitions installed inside mixer, analysis of surface images by division into sample zones and calculation of concentrations of key component in them with subsequent determination of inhomogeneity coefficient and its correction with allowance for random oscillations of number of particles of key component on observation surfaces. In order to analyze the quality of the mixture in its various cross-sections along the length of the baffle mixer, sequentially, as analysis is performed, loose material behind the removed baffle is removed.
EFFECT: method provides expansion of functional capabilities, reduction of material consumption and labor intensity, increase of speed of mixture quality determination along mixer length.
