FIELD: processing of loose materials.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in research of mixing processes in various branches of chemical, construction, coal, medical industry and some others. Method includes loading components into mixer housing, in lower part of which there is a slot with a gate, actuating, stopping it, distribution of the mixture on the conveyor belt placed under the mixer, fixation of images of the surface of the mixture, their analysis by dividing into test zones and calculating the key component concentrations therein with subsequent determination of the heterogeneity coefficient. Method allows determining quality criterion in cross-sections of a mixture in an apparatus with mixing elements of any type.
EFFECT: broader research capabilities when studying behavior of mixture homogeneity along the length of a mixer with additional mixing elements.
