FIELD: mining.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to mining industry and can be used to prevent dusting of various fine-grained materials (ash, coal, slag, potassium and other fertilizers, clay powders, graphite powders, etc.) during storage and transportation. Described is a dust suppressor for processing fine-grained materials with a glycol-containing reagent, characterized by that the glycol-containing reagent used is a dust suppressor of potassium salts, besides, dust suppressor additionally contains formaldioxan alcohol, carboxymethyl cellulose and wetting agent OP-10 at following ratio of components, wt %: dust suppressor of potassium salts in form of a mixture of monoethylene glycol of not more than 5.0 wt. %, diethylene glycol - 20 wt. %, triethylene glycol - 20 wt. %, tetraethylene glycol - 10 wt. %, pentaethylene glycol - 10 wt. % with monoethyl ethers of tri- and tetraethylene glycols of not more than 30.0 wt. % in water not more than 5.0 wt. % - 40–50; formanol of dioxane in form of by-products of dioxane production - 10–20; carboxymethyl cellulose - 1–3; wetting agent OP-10 - 1–2; water up to 100.

EFFECT: technical result of proposed composition for dust suppression are: dustiness of loose materials of different nature (ash, coal, potassium fertilizers, ore and slag materials), as well as increased stability of film created on surface of particles of loose material against atmospheric effects.
