FIELD: agriculture.
SUBSTANCE: method for pre-plant treatment of seed potatoes includes use of Fe and SiO2 nanoparticles in a suspension composition for treatment at their dosage respectively Fe nanoparticles 16⋅10-4 mol/l and SiO2 nanoparticles 6⋅10-3 mol/l in a mixture with a stabilized electrochemically activated aqueous catholyte with pH 8–9 and Eh=-400…-500 mV. Treatment is performed in vacuum medium at pressure of 650–680 mm of mercury with simultaneous mixing in drum with rotation frequency of 10 rpm for 5 minutes. Stabilizer used is glycine in amount of 0.01 wt%.
EFFECT: invention provides increased sprouting energy and germinating capacity of seed potatoes.
