FIELD: transportation.
SUBSTANCE: group of inventions relates to trailers of vehicles. Vehicle comprises connector to receive trailer connector. Connector includes a seal for contact with a trailer connector, first and second sensors, first and second switches and a display for indicating a reliable connection when the electrical circuit is closed. First sensor is located in the sealant for detection of connection between the connector and the trailer connector. First switch is functionally connected to the first sensor, which is actuated at detection of connection for electric circuit closing. Second sensor is located in the compactor and spaced apart from the first sensor. Second sensor is configured to track second connection between connector and trailer connector. Second switch is functionally connected to the second sensor. Second switch is actuated to close the electric circuit when the second sensor detects the second connection between the connector and the trailer connector.
EFFECT: possibility of detecting connection of a trailer to a vehicle by means of a receiving sensor.
