FIELD: chemistry; physics.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to geophysics and can be used to search for development zones of secondary reservoirs of fracture type hydrocarbons in a sedimentary cover. Essence: hydrocarbon deposits and several characteristics of these deposits are forecasted and searched by topographic maps. Exploratory exploration is carried out in sections of predicted deposits by seismic survey. Structural map is constructed on the roof of the promising horizon according to previously performed seismic exploration within the areas of the analysed oil and gas province with subsequent drilling of the prospecting well. Structural arches position is determined from the perspective horizon structural map. Based on said topographic map and seismic survey data, an additional structural map of the disruption is constructed. Mesh with square cells is applied on an additional structural map of breaking disorders. In each cell number of breaking disorders is calculated. Obtained values are applied to centres of squares and map of isohypses of rupture faults is used to set zone of maximum number of faults. Structural map is compared on the roof of the perspective horizon of the position of the arches of structures with the map of isohypses of faults. At the place of alignment of structures arches with zones of maximum number of faults, zone of development of secondary reservoirs of fracture type is predicted in sedimentary cover, in which priority drilling of prospecting wells is performed.
EFFECT: technical result is higher accuracy of forecasting zones of development of secondary hydrocarbon reservoirs of fracture type in sedimentary cover.
