FIELD: chemistry.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of purifying a butane-butylene fraction, which is used in petrochemical industry in producing synthetic rubber in the process of separating a basic monomer of butadiene-1,3 by chemisorption from butadiene-containing fractions formed in processes of dehydrogenation of n-butane and pyrolysis of hydrocarbons. Method of purifying butane-butylene fraction is carried out by rectification from light (C2, C3) and heavy (C5 and higher) hydrocarbons, moisture and water-soluble impurities, purification from acetylene hydrocarbons by hydrogenation, chemisorption with an absorbent aqueous ammonia solution of cuprous acetate in a liquid phase of butylene-butadiene fraction after preliminary cooling of streams to -7÷-12 °C, subsequent desorption of butadiene-1,3 from the absorption solution. Part of the butane-butylene fraction released during chemisorption is returned in the form of reflux into the chemisorption column after preliminary mixing with a water-ammonia absorption solution of cuprous acetate at ratio of 1:5 to 1:25 in a tubular turbulent apparatus of a diffuser-confuser structure.

EFFECT: enabling purification of butane-butylene fraction from impurities of butadiene to 82,3 %, and also increasing output of main monomer of butadiene-1,3.
