FIELD: oil and gas industry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to a method of stabilizing a water-ammonium solution of cuprous acetate, which is used in the petrochemical industry when producing synthetic rubber in the process of separating butadiene-1,3 monomer by chemisorption from butadiene-containing fractions formed in processes of dehydrogenation of n-butane and pyrolysis. Disclosed is a method of stabilizing a water-ammonia solution of univalent copper acetate by adding ammonia in an amount which provides a value of the redox potential of solution of 400–550 mV, wherein to ensure normalized values of circulating water-ammonia solution of univalent copper acetate it is necessary to perform uniform distribution of introduced ammonia in entire volume of process system, which is achieved by its dosing rate. To obtain stable circulating water-ammonia solution of univalent copper acetate with flow rate of 150–200 m3/h ammonia is introduced at a rate of not more than 3 m3/h.
EFFECT: high stability of the aqueous-ammonia solution of univalent copper acetate.
