FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used in the field of water treatment in thermal power engineering and industry for purification of high-mineralized acid wastewater from sulphates. Method involves treatment with an alkaline calcium-containing reagent, wherein simultaneously dosing a neutral water-soluble calcium salt. Alkaline calcium-containing reagent used is a carbonate slurry for pretreatment of a water treatment plant. Neutral water-soluble calcium salt is saline spent regeneration solutions of Na-cationite filters of a water treatment plant. Carbonate slurry is transported together with purified highly mineralized wastewater.
EFFECT: method provides complex purification of high-mineralized acidic and rigid wastewater from a sulphate treatment plant in a single step with safe and available calcium-containing reagents, which are wastes from the chemical water treatment.
