FIELD: technological processes.
SUBSTANCE: method and device serve for production of compressed gas product (72; 73) by means of low-temperature air separation in the system of distillation columns, which has high-pressure column (21) and low-pressure column (22). All used air is compressed in main air compressor (2). First partial flow (8, 11, 14) of compressed air (7) is cooled in the main heat exchanger (13), diluted in the first air turbine (15) and introduced (40; 18, 19, 20) into the system of distillation columns. Second partial flow (12, 27, 29, 30) of compressed air is compressed in the first booster compressor (9), cooled in the main heat exchanger (13), diluted (31) and introduced into the system of distillation columns. First product stream (69; 75) is extracted in liquid form from the system of distillation columns, compressed (71; 76), in the main heat exchanger (13) evaporated and heated. In the first mode of operation, the first quantity of the first product of compressed gas is obtained, and in the second mode of operation, the second quantity of the first quantity is obtained. In the first operating mode, the first amount of nitrogen (178, 179, 180) from the high pressure column is compressed in nitrogen compressor (57/59), and in the second operating mode, the second greater amount is compressed.
EFFECT: providing low specific energy consumption in a wide range of loads.
